The Spencer Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Governance and Compliance. This post is a key role with the opportunity to impact and influence across the Trust. You will ensure that statutory, regulatory governance; compliance and safeguarding requirements are met and will fulfil the roles of Company Secretary and Clerk to the Members and Board of Directors.

The Head of Governance and Compliance will also play a key role in a dynamic and forward thinking Trust and will bring with them a proven record of accomplishment in ensuring high standards of governance including the smooth and efficient administration of the Trust Board and its Committees, as well as advising on governance process and practice. You will also review and evaluate compliance activities and policy to ensure best practice is in place throughout the Trust.

The role will support the Executive Leadership Team, and the Trust through the next phase of its development, supporting improvements and developing and implementing the future strategy for growth.
