Senior Residential Support Worker Position :- Senior Residential Support Worker Full Time Salary. GBP18,810 to GBP24,116 plus sleep in allowance at GBP33 per sleep in. Spinal column points - Salary is awarded on a spinal point system and dependent on qualifications and experience. Hours of Work. An average of 39 hours per week will be worked, i.e.156 hours in a four-week cycle. There are three weeks of 40 hours and one of 36 hours. The shift patterns consist of early and late shifts (Usual start for the 24 hour shift being 10a.m and finish 10.30a.m the following day however can vary). There are some shifts referred to as day shifts and these differ in the school week and week-ends and holidays, the school week day shift can be a 3p.m start to 10p.m or 11p.m as required and weekend/holiday day shift can be the same or 10a.m start time. The hours are subject to change to maximise staff cover at the necessary times however notice is given in advance Weekend working is necessary, and it is usual to work part of two weekends in a row with the third off. You will be required to do sleep in duties on average twice a week. Extra hours worked. Overtime will be paid pro-rata or given back as time off in lieu. This is at the manager's discretion. Normal working hours must be completed first. Sleep in's - paid at GBP33 per sleep in. Probationary period. This post is subject to a six-month probationary period, during which performance will be regularly assessed. An extension to the probationary period will be made if there is any need to do so. The probationary period can be 'fast tracked' if performance is of a high standard and subject to all the requirements being met. Annual-leave entitlement. 28 days annually. Please note that when working bank holidays you will receive your agreed salary rate plus 50% or time off in lieu. We also offer bonus annual leave days dependent on years of service. Sickness Pay entitlement. Sick pay is normally statutory sick entitlement. At the Director's discretion, short term sick can be paid at the full rate of pay after the probationary period. Loyalty Bonus. The Banyan Tree has a discretionary annual loyalty bonus system. Training and funding An extensive range of training is provided and integral to the organisation's aim to enhance the team's skills and performance.
