Sales Ledger Clerk / Credit Control

Our client is currently looking for an organised and enthusiastic individual to gain experience within a sales ledger environment and develop a career within the accounting department. With a methodical and meticulous approach to work, you will maintain accurate ledger customer accounts, processing cash receipts and BACS payments and ensure that details are accurately submitted within the set timescale. You will liaise with customers regarding queries on their accounts and will chase overdue payments. Adept at using MS Office, specifically Excel and Word, you will be numerically minded and able to manage large quantities of data accurately.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are keen to begin a career within finance and learn new skills to develop this role and take on additional responsibilities. You will have ideally have gained experience within a similar sales ledger or accounting role and will demonstrate excellent attention to detail. You'll be accustomed to taking ownership of work and seeing it through to completion, whilst demonstrating a personable and positive customer focus. You'll be a self-motivated individual who shows initiative and is eager to further your knowledge.​
