Pure Homecare is an established Domiciliary Care Agency supplying Care Workers into clients homes. As a domiciliary care agency we provide Care staff to assist with various tasks such as: Home Help, Companionship and Personal Care Needs for our private clients. W e are currently recruiting for reliable, professional and enthusiastic caring individuals to work in and around the Leicester and surrounding areas.

This role is for an Evening Duty Care Worker , working from 5pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday and Alternative weekends.

Applicants MUST hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

The Duty Care Worker holds a Senior Care Worker role within Pure HomeCare.

The Duty Care Worker is expected to:

  • Represent Pure HomeCare in a highly professional manner, carrying out care duties to the highest standards possible
  • Support care visits/shifts during the hours of 5pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.
  • Support the operations of the business as required
  • Start up new care services as required; conduct introductory visits with new care workers and train them on the care service.
  • Mentor, train and guide new Care Workers to carry out a high standard of care to Pure HomeCare clients

Person Specification

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in providing care services to vulnerable adults in their own homes.
  • An NVQ2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards obtaining one
  • Ability to use initiative and to self manage; must be professional at all times
  • knowledge and a clear understanding of the National Care Standards, Safeguarding and other relevant legislation
  • Committed to providing the highest standard of service to our clients, Empathy and compassion are essential, as well as dedication and reliability.
  • Must have Full driving license with access to own transport
