Business System Architect is required for an exciting opportunity for Experian's Decision Analytics Dedicated Delivery Team.
As a Business Systems Architect you will be responsible for leading the design, the delivery and quality assurance of all project implementations on small to medium deliveries.

Decision Analytics is the international division of Experian which specialises in providing credit risk and fraud management consulting services and products. Over more than 30 years, it has developed best practice analytical, consulting and product capabilities to support organisations to manage and optimise risk; prevent, detect and reduce fraud; meet regulatory obligations; and gain operational efficiencies throughout the customer relationship. With clients in more than 60 countries and offices in more than 30, the Decision Analytics (DA) Division of Experian delivers experience and expertise developed from working with national and international organisations across a wide range of industries and businesses of all sizes.

Sales Support - 10%
  • By request support Pre-Sales, providing Product/Solution based presentations and Solution Expertise in developing prospects.
  • Understand high level solution design requirements and produce associated sizing, costing estimates where required.
  • Participate in the production of proposals and Bid reviews.

Project Delivery - 70%
  • Understand external client organisations, structure and their [G1] expectations.
  • Add value to clients business through demonstration of solution business benefits and design recommendations to form solution requirements.
  • Utilise extensive product and industry knowledge and expertise to contribute effectively to a strategic and technical solution design.
  • Identify and document systemic and operational deficiencies and enhancements within the product and recommend appropriate solutions to clients.
  • Provide insight to solution design impacts to the delivery and make recommendations for ease of the delivery and support.
  • Liaising with customers/consultancy to understand requirements, leading Design Workshops and Requirements Definition and Creation, through to sign off:
  • Gather data and information in a structured and consistent manner to meet project objectives.

  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
  • A thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Experience of data extraction, formulation, manipulation and analysis ensuring version control is rigorously applied[G2] ..
  • Successful time management and task prioritisation.
  • Experience of software solution design and configuration.Strong software configuration tools and general purpose IT packages and also the practice of Test Planning and the execution of detailed test cases plus providing support documentation.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the capabilities of the EDA product range and customer requirements; of the DA delivery life-cycle
  • Ability to assist clients in implementing and testing new solutions.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tool suite including latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Development of English language skills where not native speaker.
  • Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.
  • Lead / Contribute effectively to conversations, meetings and workshops..
  • With the Project Manager, help to manage project communication.
  • Communicate with PM/Client/Experian colleagues to help ensure accurate and timely implementation of project work.
  • Provide an open channel of communication to clients throughout the Delivery project lifecycle.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced delivery or solutions experience gained from within Experian, the industry or similar.
  • Routinely takes part in delivering solutions to clients.
  • Has experience of and delivered more than one solution to multiple industry sectors.
