An Antibody Discovery company in the Cambridgshire area is looking for an experienced Scientist to join their Preclinical Translational Pharmacology Department where you will designing, executing and analysing experiments to further the understanding of the biological and mechanistic action of their bispecific molecules. As the In Vivo Scientist you will use your knowledge and experience of tumour immunology to contribute biology expertise to multi-functional project teams to understand the underlying immunology responses to bispecific antibody intervention.


Your duties as the In Vivo Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Develop novel and refine/optimise existing in vitro (e.g. ELISA, MSD) and in vivo assays used to characterise bispecificmolecules.

2. Provide key immunological expertise to the team and apply knowledge of multiple disciplines or technological processes to affect program/project direction.

3. Develop and Characterise oncological murine models e.g. Mouse Transplantable Tumour Models (Syngeneics).

4. Develop Ex vivo assays for functional analysis of murine cells (e.g. T cell activity, cytokine release).


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the 088 - Scientist - Preclinical Translational Pharmacology we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant PhD in a biological subject with a relevant focus on Immunology, Oncology or Pharmacology in addition to a valid Home Office Personal Licence (or international equivalent).

2. Proven industry experience in developing oncological murine models and the ability to analyse immune cell populations by multi-colour flow cytometry (e.g. TIL analysis).

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with a range of the following techniques:
MSD Assay
Gene expression array
T-Cell Activity assay
Cytokine Assay
Pharmacokinetics / Pharmacodynamics

4. Evidence of a track record of successful research, as evidenced by publications (manuscripts, oral presentations, posters, patent, project milestones) is desirable.
