Then this could be the position for you Role This role plays a pivotal part in the success of both the team and company through generating new business with some account management. You will be responsible for identifying, generating and converting prospective leads into new clients whilst building relationships. As a senior member of the Sales Team you will focus on larger opportunities using a consultative approach. This includes both maximising the size of initial engagements and creating footholds into potentially much larger opportunities. You will need to be able to respond to complex request for tenders and request for proposals. You will need to demonstrate the ability to navigate a complex sale, identifying buying influences, their roles and degree of influence. This role will also involve; Meeting/Exceeding revenue targets and other KPI’s as defined by the Sales Manager Regularly winning multi-year contracts worth more than £50k Total Contract Value (TCV) Selling initial contracts of multiple multi-channel services, i.e. not just straight SMS contracts Presenting at C level about how Esendex can help solve problems and create efficiencies for our customers Using outbound selling resources (Sales Navigator, Referrals, Exhibitions, Networking events, others) to self-generate leads and win new business from those channels Developing and demonstrating specific Public Sector sales knowledge and expertise Developing and maintaining a network of influential contacts across their industry sector Experience You must be an exceptional candidate, with a proven track in a similar role. In particular, you are required to have: Essential; Outstanding Customer Service and Sales skills, with the ability to close Strong sales experience in a Public Sector environment Proven presentation skills in both creating compelling content and delivery Excellent verbal and written skills Motivating yourself and others to make things happen every day Superior organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast paced environment You’ve frequently met and exceeded targets set in a previous sales role Desirable; Experience of selling SaaS based solutions and products Experience of using a CRM system Technical sales implementation - ie. delivery of complex projects post sale Formal sales methodology training such as SPIN selling/Challenger Sales Working with the digital communications industry To apply please send a covering letter and CV via the 'Apply' button.
