ATA Recruitment is recruiting for a UK manufacturer of process systems which are used within industries such as food, beverage, dairy, brewery, chemical, general engineering and energy from waste. On target to achieve £7 million growth during 2017, my client is looking to strengthen the Commercial Sales & Projects Department by recruiting an experienced Project Sales Engineer or Manager to join the team. Project Sales Engineer or Manager Responsible for selling a range of mechanical & process plant equipment. Targeting new project wins within the food, beverage, dairy, brewer/distillery, pharmaceutical or hygienic market sectors. Sales and project management of process turnkey solutions to clients such as Nestlé, Cadbury’s, Molson Coors, Golden Wonder and Dairy Crest. You will be responsible for sales, project management, overseeing design, estimating, installation, commissioning and complete project management. Identifying new project enquires as well as generating a sales pipeline of £4 million worth of business within the first 18 months. Responsible for ustilising an extensive database of clients, arranging face to face visits and performing commercial & technical sales presentations. To meet all relevant decision makers to understand their business, the scope of the project, project values and to obtain RFQ’s (request for quotes). To obtain & review engineering drawings such as P&ID’s (process & instrumentation diagrams) or plant layouts. Coordinating the bids & tenders with the internal Projects & Process Engineering Teams. Handling project values ranging from £25,000 to £1.5 million complete systems. Experience & background: An experienced Project Sales Engineer or Project Sales Manager. You must have sold some technical product or solution into either food, drink, dairy, brewery, pharmaceutical or hygienic market sector. A minimum ONC in mechanical engineering.
