Job Summary The role of Sales Manager is to promote and sell PSPs product and services portfolio to new clients. You will be responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of potential clients and supporting the PSP Business Services Conference and Training Room facilities. This role is to act as Sales and Marketing for both PSP IT Design and Development and PSP Business Services, a brand new business launching this autumn, with over £300k investment in premises and kit-out. You will also be part of the Senior Management Team. Duties and Responsibilities PSP IT: To pro-actively manage client sales initiatives using a mixture of telephone cold calling/online activities, email campaigns Provide the informal and formal quotes Drive new business by identifying routes to market and building strong relationships Recording of new leads on CRM and updating information of follow ups Contribute to client communications programs to include social media and other keep in touch activities To provide sales management information to support performance management of the role (all this information is available within our CRM, your role is to ensure this is as up to date) Duties and Responsibilities PSP BS: To pro-actively manage client sales initiatives using a mixture of telephone cold calling/online activities, email campaigns Initially focus on executive room hire, as a way to bring clients to site and cross selling PSP IT Assist with the launch of the training arm of the company and identify routes to market within a 25 mile radius To help promote, and sell a calendar of training events and meeting room hire The successfully appointed B2B Corporate Sales Manager will have proven experience in a sales and brand marketing role and have a good understanding of IT systems. Skills and Experience Required: Experience of working in a B2B communication role supporting the public and private sectors Results oriented and must be comfortable with being measured against KPIs and objectives Strong relationship management skills coupled with competent interpersonal and organisational skills Self-starter but able to work flexibly with a team Broad business understanding and financial literacy High levels of influencing, persuading, negotiation, facilitation skills Sales experience and lead generation-identification essential Has good presentation skills and is able to positively present the products and services Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately both verbally and in writing to Senior Managers Working against agreed targets Experience of working with e-marketing software and on-line platforms / forums / email campaigns End user CRM competent Ideally good experience of web sites application and some knowledge of IT solutions Microsoft packages Mail chimp of similar marketing package Has good IT Skills Current driving licence The Person Friendly, bubbly, Trustworthy, hardworking and self-motivated Capably of working on your own initiative and good time management who can manage objectives and tasks efficiently and to time Somebody who wants to deliver results and grow within the company Persistent individual who does not give up when targets are failing but rather finds ways to deliver on the very realistic targets set Great phone manner essential Hardworking, ambitious with a can do attitude essential This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further learn and understand the wider IT Design / Development and Business Services and to build their communication skills with clients and stakeholders.
