Sales & Marketing Account Manager Leicester, Leicestershire to £21,000 depending on experience Benefits This is a fantastic opportunity for an experiencedSales & MarketingAccount Managerto join our highly successful and well established client based in Leicester. Working within a manufacturing company who supply their specialist products to medical organisations as well as industrial companies and OEMs, as theSales & Marketing Account Manager, you will be responsible for - - Making outbound proactive B2B calls to existing clients in order to support business growth - Analyse customer accounts, product ranges, customer spend, via SAP, to identify opportunities for cross selling or upselling - Arrange and attend face to face introductory meetings, service review meetings - Attend industry exhibitions and network (approx. 6 per year) - Update systems - Follow up leads which come into the business - Update company website with news stories, blogs, make minor website changes (this can be trained if required) - Reviewmarketing literature (brochures & catalogues) ensuring up to date product range in place - Compile reports and pricing lists using MS Excel - Provide support to the Customer Service team during busy periods and covering holidays as required Skills, Experience and Attributes required include - - Previous experience in a B2B outbound sales/ account management/ internal sales/business developmentrole - Ability to build rapport, engage in a conversation in a friendly and professional manner rather than a direct approach - Nurture & develop relationships - Ability to listen, absorb technical information, apply knowledge - Confident communication skills - Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate - Ability to prioritise tasks, demonstrate attention to detail, manage time effectively - Driven, proactive, self-motivated - Tenacious, enthusiastic, positive The role is an approximate 60/40% split between proactive sales and marketing/administration support. It would suit somebody who is looking to take the next step in developing their sales career.
