Job Description OFFICE SUPPORT ASSISTANT

This full time permanent role will be based at our Peterborough office and incorporates a mix of reception and administrative duties as a member of our Office Support Team, who assist our directors and managers in the provision of accountancy and taxation services to our valued clients.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be undertaking the following roles:

• Reception - deal with incoming calls; take and relay messages; provide general information to callers and visitors

• Visitor hospitality - greet clients and other visitors to the building

• General care of our meeting rooms, conference facilities and communal office areas

• Filing (paper and electronic), post room duties and daily errands

• Occasional typing of letters to clients and business contacts and assistance in mail merge processing for bulk circulation of information

• Client support tasks including Companies House Confirmation Statements (annual returns)

• General support to all members of staff

Skills and experience required are as follows:

• Good verbal and written communication skills; be organised and plan their work, good attention to detail and initiative

• Adaptable, positive attitude with a friendly approachable disposition

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook

• Ability to prioritise work and communicate with all members of staff and clients alike
