Our client is currently looking to recruit an IT Service Manager to join their expanding organisation on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previously worked within an IT Service Delivery environment and have commercial management experience. You must have fantastic communication and people management skills, excellent problem solving skills and be confident working under pressure. Within the role you will be leading either one large or several small service relationships, ensuring commercial targets are met or exceeded, contract and commercial change is controlled, contracted service obligations are met and service excellence are delivered. The role will involve 5 key components including Service Delivery, Relationship management, Commercial management, Contract management and Leadership, which in turn includes ensuring – Service obligations are met. Regular service reviews are held with customers and attend appropriate meetings Performance statistics and reporting is provided to the customer. Service Quality measurements are in place and a “service excellence” ethos is promoted Build strong productive working relationships with mapped customers and their management teams (evidenced by regular meetings with key customer management) Responsible for P&L Management (Revenue, profit, cost, Aged Debt/control). Evidenced by achievement or exceeding the Enterprise plan and accurate forecasting. Support the Management Team in Renewals and Extensions management Identify and maximise opportunities for growth in all areas of business First line leadership of all direct reports and virtual team members The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Outsourced managed service environment, be ITIL Certified or aware and an understanding of Quality Management systems.
