PepsiCo is looking for a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to support our UK and Benelux Lean Six Sigma Programme across Europe. This is an exciting role, leading operational excellence, working across Supply Chain and the broader Sector business to deliver productivity. You'll be leading strategic process improvement projects as part of the Lean Six Sigma Team and providing world class training and coaching to future Green Belts. You'll also be developing diligent LSS productivity pipeline for each of our business categories in alignment with the Productivity Directors. Through passion for developing lean culture and innovative process improvements, the BB key accountabilities include: Working with stakeholders to identify relevant opportunities. Clearly defining project scope to ensure that we have clear commitment to tangible and real deliverables. Identification and creation of site-based capability to implement the programme and provide coaching to Green Belts and Kaizen Leaders. Working closely within Supply Chain to ensure the delivery of their overall LSS programme. Establishing and maintaining appropriate governance, scorecard, audit protocols, coupled with R&R, to ensure progress is monitored, sustained, escalated and celebrated. It is also critical to identify integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goals. Sharing best practice implementation across Sites / functions and within Europe Sector. Deploying effective project management and LSS techniques to: Lead teams to execute projects with the LSS methodology Launch project teams Track project status and results Remove and escalate project barriers Essential skills: In-depth experience as a Black Belt, with customer focussed experience within supply chain (logistics would be preferable). Demonstrate substantial financial delivery from seeing BB projects through to completion. Previous experience of delivering training courses and supporting trainees through to certification. Able to align and motivate all key stakeholders to support the projects, provide resource, time etc. Strong project management skills to co-ordinate implementation approach across multi locations. Able to lead functional project teams. Ability to communicate with, and drive engagement on agenda with multiple stakeholders. Able to build broad, sustained organisation capability. Demonstrated track record of driving results across multiple areas and where resources are not directly owned by the individual. The ability to carry out technical/ analytical assessments, and use the outcome to transform cost areas. The candidate for this position must be pro-active and process driven, with a strong focus on driving a standardised global process to achieve high standards at all locations. Flexibility to travel up to 30% across the UK and Europe when required. This role requires an advanced technical skill set. The job holder will be a subject matter expert in: DMAIC methodology. Statistical tools associated with being a LSS Black Belt. VSM building and diagnosing.
