This is a great time to join our growing business and as a Programme and Performance Manager you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribution to the group. As a key member of our Programme and Performance team, you will provide a high quality integrated resourcing, pre-construction and customer service function for delivery of all programmes of work in line with business requirements . Your responsibilities: · Develop, manage and deliver the programme and performance plan for your projects · Ensure robust cost and delivery plans are provided for your projects at feasibility and delivery stage · Ensure that your programme and performance management information, including KPI performance, is in line with business reporting requirements · Liaise closely with finance on monthly and quarterly financial reporting, with financial functional support · Ensure that risk registers are managed at team, programme and project level with appropriate mitigation, supported by the managed commercial function · Actively contribute to a ‘One Team’ ethos, and full participation in Design and Delivery / Construction Services Teams decision making Our ideal candidate will have: · Proven experience of managing a programme and performance management function within a multi-facetted construction design, project management and construction business. · Demonstrable experience of commercial controls including forecasting, influencing to achieve value for money for programme and performance outcomes. · A thorough understanding of commercial design, construction cost planning, tenders and financial control of projects. · A good understanding of construction within Local Government and the wider Public Sector. · The ability to lead, inspire and influence teams to foster good working relations to meet the desired outcomes and objectives of the business. · Well developed interpersonal, design, commercial, financial and contractor management skills to work effectively and collaborate with internal and external teams. · A background in M&E would be an advantage In return we can offer you: · An excellent pay package plus membership of Local Government Pension Scheme · 25 days’ annual leave, in addition to 8 days’ statutory bank holiday entitlement · Flexible working hours and policies to support your work/life balance, including job share opportunities If this sounds like the opportunity you are looking for please submit your CV and a covering letter setting out how you meet the requirements of the role via the ink below.
