Rolls Royce our currently recruiting for experienced Inspector's to undertake an initial 12 month temporary assignment based in Derby . Working as part of a high performing team, the successful applicant will be responsible for inspecting across a number of functions in a technically demanding aerospace market working to manufacturing / engineering drawings, instructions, specifications & standards. The successful candidate will preferably have experience in an Aerospace environment, be self-motivated and be able to work with little supervision as part of an integrated high performing team. Essential Skills/Experience: Completing inspection documentation as necessary Raising failed inspection and correction documentation Operating large CMMs, inspection gauges and tools will be the core skill used Operation of the Shop Floor Data Manager work booking system Recording work details and non-conformance Time served engineering apprenticeship Use & understand a wide variety of different measuring equipment Interpretation of Manufacturing Instructions & drawings Working to Standard Operating Procedures Lean manufacturing knowledge Yellow belt accreditation Low level machine and fixture maintenance HPC knowledge and application Advantageous Skills Secondary skills will include fitting / de-burring and vane filling.
