Recovery Focus is a new group of expert charities with the shared aim to inspire individual recovery nationwide. Between us we have a track record of more than 200 years of developing and running personalised services that work with people with mental health, substance misuse and other complex needs to achieve their ambitions. Each partner organisation has its own rich history of success, but together we believe we can lead the way in evidence-based recovery pathways, tailored to meet local and individual needs.

Right now, one of our partners, Aquarius Action Projects, is looking for an Administration & Data worker to join their team within our Derby service. Aquarius helps people overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. They work closely with individuals, families and friends to lessen the impact caused by the behaviour of a loved one. But it's only possible with the help of people like you.

You will undertake general office work like photocopying, filing and word processing correspondence and reports, we'll rely on you to develop and maintain our office systems, design, generate and analyse data reports, minute meetings and much more besides. And, when it comes to welcoming service users, carers and other visitors and keeping our reception area tidy, again, it's you we'll turn to. Liaising with contractors and suppliers, helping to publicise the service and providing admin back up for events - all are key aspects of this interesting and varied role.

Some experience gained in a similar role is essential, together with a good level of education (GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent). We'll also be looking for excellent IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows files and folders. The ability to communicate clearly and appropriately in writing, face-to-face and on the phone with people from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds is important too, as is lots of initiative and strong multi-tasking skills. A great team player, you're non-judgmental, have an understanding of data protection and the need for client confidentiality and are keen to be involved in the general running of a vital service.

This is a part time post at 20 hours per week. Working times are 9:30am - 2:30pm or 10.00am - 3:00pm.
