We are recruiting for a home-based external salesperson to report into a Manchester Sales Office with responsibility for both managing existing accounts and generating new sales across West and South Yorkshire, Humberside and East Midlands.

The successful candidate will be working closely with fabricators, installers and trade counters, whilst also engaging with architects, specifiers, main contractors and other clients associated with the sourcing of PVC-u window products. Ultimately you will be responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets, ensuring regular planning and reporting is maintained.

You will have a good standard of education, ideally A level or equivalent, have knowledge of the construction market and the ability to obtain product specification. It is essential that you have experience in the construction market and you should have a network of contacts within the industry. It is essential that you have the ability to assimilate knowledge of Window products, along with commercial acumen. You will be an excellent communicator with honed presentation skills, you will be well organised with a structured approach to work.

Candidates must be professional, articulate and numerate to a high level and able to communicate with all parties involved in the construction market. It is also desirable that you have knowledge and previous experience of the commercial fenestration market and ideally you will have had dealings with fabricators, contractors and architects.
