A global manufacturer of precision components to the aerospace sector has a new vacancy for a Sales Manager. With proven sales to the aerospace sector you will develop both new and existing customers. Commutable from: Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Coventry, Loughborough, Northampton. Salary: £ 45,000 - £ 60,000 p.a. benefits Suitable for: Sales Manager, Sales Director, Business Development Manager, BDM, Commercial Manager, Account Manager. The Role You will be responsible for the development of sales to both existing and new customers promoting the company's range of products and services to the aerospace sectors. Possessing proven account management skills you will create and deliver presentations and negotiate orders. Key responsibilities: Negotiate and secure orders Manage day to day activities within the Sales Office Develop sales plans and strategies to effectively grow the business Prepare and maintain metrics and sales reports on a weekly basis Negotiate with customers at all levels to win business and improve margins Create and deliver technical sales presentations to existing and prospective clients Lead the creation of detailed estimates, sales quotations, pre-qualification documents and bid summaries Measure and improve enquiry and quotation volumes The Person With substantial sales to the aerospace sector you will possess drive and energy to increase profits for this division of a global engineering company. An effective communicator you will be commercially astute and be able to write bids to satisfy customer requirements. Ideally qualified in an engineering qualification you have a high level of business acumen and extensive knowledge of the aerospace and manufacturing industries.
