Salary dependent upon experience (FTE GBP15,500 - GBP16,500 pa)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic part time Admin Assistant to join our friendly forward thinking practice team.

You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties to support the clinical provision within the Practice. The main focus of this role will be maintaining the systems in place for the call and recalling of patients, and to work with the team to ensure appropriate cover during staff absence.

The role will require a methodical and pragmatic administrator who will be comfortable working to multiple demands and priorities in a busy GP Practice.

Essential knowledge, skills and experience required;

• Experience of working with MS Office products, especially MS

Word & Excel to a competent level

• Effective communication skills will be required to engage with a range

of stakeholders, able to communicate with patients in a professional

and caring manner

• Team worker with ability to interact and motivate others

• Aware of own strengths and development needs

• Numerate and IT literate (capable of producing and maintaining reports and

documents etc. as appropriate)

• Prioritisation skills with ability to manage own workloads

• Flexible, enthusiastic and committed

• Accurate and methodical
