Job Title: Team Lead / Development Manager (Hands on) / Remote working / Flexible hours / Autonomy Location: Leicester Salary: £40,000 £45,000 DOE Benefits A highly reputable and established Ecommerce Retailer is urgently seeking a Team Lead to join and lead a development team that delivers the best development solutions for their IT Department at their Global Head office. You will be responsible for up to 8 highly skilled developers and will be required to carry out 1 to 1’s, reviews and the day to day management of the team. You will have the freedom to run your team as you see fit while you work alongside the Development Director to help your team to continue to come up with innovative ideas that has seen the company grow and developer over the years . You will be hands on with development while mentoring the members of your team, retaining the skills you have worked hard to perfect over the years . If you have most of the below requirements please apply The Role Requirements: PHP Ability to lead a young and enthusiastic team of strong Developers ( 1 to 1’s reviews etc.) Working with front end Developers on new features. Understanding of MVC frameworks or bespoke frameworks. SQL (PostgreSQL or similar, e.g. MySQL, SQL Server) Ability to manage the existing installs . Nice to have Business Apps Other tech languages. (Java, C#/.net, Python etc.) This role is suited to Developers who have a strong technical ability and an in-depth understanding of PHP, the ability to lead and support the existing team as well as remaining hands-on is key.
