This company is a leading independent provider of commercial catering equipment to the food service and hospitality sector specialising in new design-led project installations and counting some of the best known restaurant names on the high street amongst its client list.

They are seeking an experienced project manager to join their existing project management team.

Applicants should have a proven track record in the management of catering equipment projects, from design through to installation, and within a wide range of market sectors. They should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of commercial catering design principles and a high level of attention to detail, as well as a methodical and thorough approach to their work.

The role also requires a high level of technical understanding with the ability to read, understand and respond to both technical as well as design related issues. A good working knowledge and understanding of all relevant gas, electrical and HVCA regulations is also important.

An ability to accurately interpret and sign off specialist fabrication drawings is a key component of the job such that applicants with a drafting or design office background would be favourably viewed.

Experience with and the ability to draw using CAD design software such as AutoCAD would be viewed as a distinct advantage.

The role will involve travelling to client premises and site locations to attend meetings, liaise with related trades and oversee all aspects from initial design sign-off through to installation, project completion & handover.

Needless to say, the ability to engage and forge strong working relationships with clients, third party contractors and other team members is also regarded as important!

This is a busy, demanding and wide-ranging role but also one which will reward those who pride themselves on excelling and delivering a high standard and quality of work.

The position will of course require the holding of a full UK driving license and the ability to work on projects on a UK wide basis. Due to this national coverage they are flexible in respect of applicant's home location however in or around London and the South East or close to their Cambridge offices would be considered as ideal.
