The Role
A Leicester based Insurance Group are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join the well established Private Client team.
Reporting directly to our Private Client Manager you will be responsible for covering all aspects of insurance arrangements including quotations, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
You will be able to establish good working relationships quickly and easily with new and existing clients. You will need to have excellent communication skills and work with a greater level of attention to detail.
You will need to be able respond to the unique requirements of high net worth customers and enjoy speaking to people about their lifestyle and interests.
Of course, you will also need to work with a professional manner and offer a high level of customer service at all times.
We pride ourselves on the technical experience within the division and are seeking a candidate who can add to this wealth of knowledge.
You will work with the Account Executives and take instruction from clients and liaise with insurers enabling you to use your excellent negotiation skills.
A commercial sense and ability to follow industry specific trends and results will enable you to develop your own potential within this specialist area of the business.

You will have a proven background working as an experienced Account Handler, with specific knowledge of Private Client classes of insurance.
You will be working to a team of Account Executives, Handlers and insurance partners so you will have the opportunity to use your excellent team working skills.
You will be known for your attention to detail and work with a methodical approach and be comfortable working to deadlines
You will possess excellent customer service and communication skills and demonstrate the natural ability required to understand your client's individual needs.
Candidates will need to demonstrate a willingness to continue to work towards the recognised CII qualifications.
As a recognised industry professional, it's essential that you have experience of working in accordance with the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
