Permanent position

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Fundraising and Communications Team (FACT). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of administration for our training functions – preparing materials, taking and managing bookings, recording attendance on our internal database, liaising with prospective customers (both internal and external organisations plus older people directly), managing basic finance functions, and administering our award winning ClickSilver computer learning programme (in conjunction with Capital One and Business in the Community).

There will also be an opportunity to support the creative processes involved with marketing and PR activities for the charity, including small project management, using social media and websites to publicise our services.

This is a varied and exciting role within a busy department that provides internal support across the whole charity.  The successful candidate will be well-organised, have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, understand the needs of older people and be willing to pitch in as new challenges emerge.  Experience of working with a variety of PC applications is essential and a working knowledge of social media will be advantageous.

As an employee of Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire you will be eligible for our attractive package which includes 24 days annual leave (Pro Rata), public holidays, flexible working and a 4% employer contribution pension (in line with auto-enrolment rules) as well as a child care voucher scheme.
